My name is Walt Rice.

I live in Feltonville, a small neigborhood in Philadelphia, at the north end of North Philly. I often say that I was born in Philly, raised in Philly, educated in Philly, work in Philly, and unless God takes me somewhere else, I’m gonna die in Philly. (Hopefully not soon, but that’s not the point!)

I graduated from Philadelphia’s Central High School, and then from the University of Pennsylvania, twice, with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in Comptuer Science Engineering, and a Master of Telecommunications and Networking.

I am a self-employed technology consultant, in business with my father in a little venture called R&R Computer Solutions. I mostly provide IT services to smaller non-profits in the library and museum world. I work on various websites, including the Philadelphia Architects and Buildings project.

I desire to follow in the path of Christ, choosing service rather than success, and invest a lot of my time in various roles at my church, Wyoming Ave. Baptist.
